My heart breaks again today as I sit on a wealth of knowledge and understanding that can change peoples lives yet my friends loved ones and co-workers continue to "poo poo" what I have to offer because I'm not their doctor. Time goes on and on and their doctor isn't making them better. Some of them will die before they have to. (barring the return of Jesus in the next few years)
Years ago my doctor told me about the relationship between pharmaceutical industry and doctors. Many doctors don't even realize what they're doing because it's the norm, but if it's not something from a pharmaceutical company, your doctor won't prescribe it. That means that since twenty first century medicine is oh so advanced, it really doesn't matter if it's worked for thousands of years, we have "newer and better now" and people are dying by the hundreds of thousands every year from this newer better stuff.
News flash! Doctors don't know everything! Appropriate nutritional training isn't part of med school. So while most doctors go against Gods design for the human body and give it man made nutrient depleations to force correct one ailment at a time, the body isn't getting what it needs to heal it's self of any issues it recognises and chooses to fight.
Ever wonder about those drug commercials on TV that spend five seconds on what the drug can help with and thirty seconds on the warnings? People actually believe that if their doctor prescribes it those things wont happen to them! nearly 200,000 people a year die because of this!
Trying to tell people they can strengthen their immune system and feel better and be sick less is like telling them about Jesus. They'd rather suffer.

Just a Good Idea
Remember when you were young and your mom said "eat all your veggies"? She was right! Taking care of your body is Just a good idea. It's the only one you've got! But is eating right enough? Our food doesn't have the same nutrients that it did twenty years ago. If you want the vitamin A found in two peaches in 1951, you have to eat 53 peaches! Have fun with that!

A New Day
Every day I watch people suffer from ailments their bodies would be able to correct if they were properly nourished. Their doctors and specialists aren't making it better but they just can't believe nutrition is the answer. Might as well eat grass, snake oil, hocus pocus, witch doctor, whatever their connection. They deny the power of holistic medicine, refuse to educate themselves, continue their "mainstream" treatments and their suffering. How sad is that?
Then there's my favorite; If I don't have to pay for a building, electricity, employees and TV commercials it's a scam. How smart is that?
I look forward to a new day. The day when poeple choose to take care of their bodies and use the safest means possible to correct issues that arise.

All Things Dear
What's dear to you? For me, God is first. Next is my husband and children, then my pets who are like my children.
What breaks your heart? Hopefully the same things that break God's heart. The more time you spend in His word the more your heart is conformed to God's. Apathy among Christians is most troublesome. Yes, I've been there too. Then there's watching loved ones suffer. I'm probably too soft in this area. Sometimes consequences are important for growth. But what if you can help? Doesn't that make life better? I believe that is what God intends for our lives, to Glorify Him and to love one another.
For all things dear, promote wellness! First and foremost, SHARE JESUS! Then, (still incomparable with salvation in Christ) share the exciting new technology found in Mannatech products! It's amazing how feeling great can change ones outlook on life and clarify the thought process!

The Absolute Truth.
First and foremost, I am a Bible believing Christian. My life is centered on absolute truth. I am intently dedicated to finding the truth in all things and not speaking out or posting on any "hear say" evidence. Any information posted in this blog has been thoroughly researched.
I will begin with simple history. Over a decade ago, after suffering a long term sinus infection due to uncontrolled allergies, when over a year of shots specialists and every available medication had been exhausted, at the advice of a very wise friend, I began taking analternative nutriitonal supplement. When I awoke one morning two weeks later and could breathe and think clearly and had a new unrecognisable energy, I knew my body had finally found a way to make appropriate corrections!
Years went by as I noticed that in the absence of nutritional supplementation, my decrease in immune function was remarkable. Anytime I felt the financial desire to do without for a while, I caught a virus and my allergies returned.
As time progressed and I continued only a minimum of food based nutritional supplement intake, other issues remained and grew to be problematic. Though I did not see temporary paralysis that was present before nutriitonal supplementation, my severe back pain and dysfunction was increasing over time as was my need of medical care and narcotic pain medications, which of coarse were amplifying several other issues. By December of 2009, after again exhausting mainstream medical options, I decided to investigate other food supplement products, before claiming disability.
Six weeks later, one Friday morning I began to feel hopeless and once again feared a bleak future. The fallowing day, however, I awoke to discover a complete and total absence of pain. Within weeks I was no longer taking any medications for any illnesses. I no longer suffered from s.i. joint disorder, pyraformis syndrome, migraines, severe stomach pain, digestive dysfunctions, depression and anxiety, tachycardia or allergies and immune deficiencies. My own body was doing it's job!
At this point I began to investigate the company I had only lightly associated with for 9 years. I had signed up to be an associate for Mannatech so that I could receive a discount on products. Nothing had ever been required of me and I never heard from the company regarding business or lack thereof. I heard only on rare occasion from my friend suggestion of generating income.
I became increasingly impressed with Mannatech and the entire community of caring people. I also soon discovered the atrocities of modern mainstream healthcare industry. My own doctor had tried to explain to me the hypocrisy and deceit in today's healthcare, but though I believed him, I had NO IDEA the astronomical impact of what he was saying.
In my next blog I will begin to share life altering information with you that I know can help lead you to Integrative Medicine. This is a concept so simple it is often overlooked. Yes, you can take charge of your own well being using God given non-toxic sources, and know when a physician can be a life saver!

Mannatech and the value of third party recources
One of the most impressive things I've seen in Mannatech is their use of outside resources to validate their products. Their website, http://mannatechscience.org/ gives a huge list of resources and references involved in testing. Many universities are involved.
The company, Mannatech, was birthed from the creation of their signature product, Ambrotose. When the oral form of acemannon, taken from aloe's inner leaf gel, was created, (injections had already been approved as an immune stimulant), Hazleton Labs were contracted to test the substance. Hazleton Labs is one of the worlds largest independent pharmaceutical labs used for testing many substances that later become FDA approved drugs.

Researching
This is a crucial point both in my blog and in life! The older I get, the more I see folks who know it all and are so gifted that they can know it all without even having to study the facts! (I hope the implied sarcasm properly expresses my frustration.)
My wonderful husband taught me early on not to be gullible. So when I wanted to start promoting Mannatech, I did a lot of homework first. Here are some valuable things I've learned:
1: When you look into something on the internet, if you stop at one or two things, your chances of being deceived are pretty huge. Anyone can post information on the internet, honest or dishonest. For example, I recently posted information about Ambrotose on my face book page. I got one comment with a link to 20/20. Praise God someone had enough thought to check into it before they decided "fact or fiction". Impressive! However,this was one of the boldest cases of media trickery I've ever seen! If you trust that the people involved in the making of that show are completely honest and what you see is all there is than I promise you at some point in your life you will be taken advantage of.
When I research, first I find the information, then I find out who produced the information and where the information comes from. Then, I find different information and do the same. If a law suit is involved and is an important factor, I research sites of public record to read about the case. Having the facts helps me then to understand the credibility of those posting other information. I NEVER stop at one.
2: Names mean nothing. The the most notorious medical university in the country would be thought of as the "end all - be all" of information, right? I'll just share an experience. While in a college data base I read a University article from the most notorious, stating there were no studies on glyconutrients. Five minuets later I had that study in my hand. Be a thinker!
3: The most important thing I do is ask God to show me the truth. Don't trust me, seek truth!
